Ljubljana: we declare the woodbox open

The woodbox arrived at its third stop, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and will remain at the square right in front of the city hall until May 21.

Slovenia is a country with a lot of forests, wood construction is on its way to become an important method of building houses and especially with prefabricated and mutli-storey buildings wood construction has become a favourite. The visual impression you get in Ljubljana supports the purpose of wooddays. Furthermore the Slovenian government promotes the use of wood as high-quality, sustainable material with its action plan 'wood is good'.
